  1. The introduction to Civil Aviation operation

Course objectives:

This course provides newly recruited aviation employees with basic understanding of Civil aviation operations, its structure, aviation law and related legislation environment, activities and features of various departments and their sub-divisions and a guided field tour.

Course details:

  • Characteristics and functions of Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority and National Civil Aviation Centre; their departments and sub-divisions
  • Documentation process and limitations
  • Internal procedure of labour, ethics and other relevant procedures
  • Understanding of occupational safety and health
  • Guided tour to the industry field operations

Pre-perquisite:

  • Must be a part-time or full-time employee of aviation industry

 

  1. Aviation law and regulations-General course

Delivery: Classroom

Duration: 8 hours

Language: Mongolian

Course objectives:

This course is intended to train, re-train, refresh civil aviation professionals with necessary knowledge of international civil aviation conventions, laws, regulations, international standards, recommended practices, civil aviation safety concepts and accident documentations.

Course aims: Upon attending this course, trainee will attain knowledge on following areas:

  • Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, SARPS
  • Civil Aviation Laws
  • Civil Aviation Regulations
  • Civil Aviation Regulation structure and regulatory requirements
  • Relevant regulations concerned


Pre-perquisite:

  • To be a full-time employee of aviation industry
  • To have basic understanding of civil aviation

 

  1. Training of Occupational Health and Safety Management System

Delivery: Classroom

Duration: 14 hours

Language: Mongolian

Course objectives:

This course is developed to provide Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority and its various branch staff with basic knowledge on occupational safety, safety management system and legal environment enabling the staff work safe and protect their health.

The course is aimed at:

  • Fundamental understanding on identifying and preventing hazards that may lead to occupational accidents and acute intoxication,
  • Principles of identifying and preventing negative factors to cause work-related disease
  • Basic understanding on Labour and Occupational health and safety management
  • Setting the attitude to actively engage in activities to identify, report and correct the factors that may trigger occupational accidents or disease.

Pre-perquisite:

  • To be a full-time employee of Mongolian civil aviation authority and its departments

 

  1. Aerodrome operations training

Delivery: Classroom

Duration: 53 hours 15 minutes

Language: Mongolian

Course objectives:

This course is for employees working within the aerodrome operations like engineers, technicians and other individuals and airport management. By attending this course, trainees will cover safety of civil aviation aerodrome, operational structure, legal environment, general understanding of hazards of bird strike, knowing aerodrome elements, preparing for operational readiness and proactively preventing unconformities.

Course aims:

This course aimed at providing knowledge and skills on aerodrome documentations, winter and summer maintenance, executing aerodrome operations, and the following:

  • Aerodrome, its general planning
  • Mongolian and international legal documentations
  • Aerodrome inspection; reporting the circumstances
  • Aerodrome safety and team work in safety
  • Sending aerodrome-related information and data to Aeronautical information services organization
  • Aerodrome maintenance operation
  • Evaluating runway surface condition in accordance with international methods
  • Principles of PCI
  • Fire-fighting and rescue operations in vicinity of aerodrome
  • Bird and wildlife hazard in aerodrome vicinity
  • Understanding on navigation equipment in aerodrome

Pre-requisite:

  • Individuals responsible for civil aviation aerodrome safety, inspection or maintenance inspection, ground operations, safety (systems, environment, advisers, quality management, and analysts), maintenance, rescue & fire fighting services or for a Government Department / National Aviation Authority. And those concerned in the process of ICAO Annex 14 and Aerodrome Certification.
